How stupid am I? When I saw the figure in the thread title I thought it was the mileage. That's £20k. I retract my earlier comment about somebody "snapping it up".

Strange the way he doesnt mention that the car actually used to be orange and was originally featured in modified motors in October 2004! it has been doing the rounds for a while! Last time i heard a lad in Wexford was selling it for 15000euro and that was after the spray job and everything so i wuld say someone trying to make a quick bit of money!

The write up reckons its a 97, well it has series one seatbelts so I would say the guys a twat to start with.

It does draw the eye and someone will like it just not me

Check the number plates in the pics the first two digits should let you know the answer to that!!

what you all trhink

Rip off! That's what I think. I'd rather drive round in a Maestro Clubman Diesel. I mean look it at. "F*cking nasty" is an understatement.

Yea but look at where the front seatbelts are, and the steering wheel

When cars get registered into the UK, all one has to do when filling in the relevant documentation, is put 'approximate date of manufacture'. AFAIK, there is no proof of date of manufacture needed. I expect the same is the case with Irish cars, or it was bought from England and then re-registered in Ireland.

I remember when first viewing my car, Gio pulled a lot of the interior panels apart and check off batch numbers that are embossed into most of the plastic/metal components which he cross referenced with information he had indicating that the manufacture year was correct, which is was.

I suspect what has happened is that when it was first registered over here, the 'approximate date of manufacture' was made up as they had no information (due to the fact that Japanese documents either get lost, or by most, are unreadable).

It's not too bad,but they should of paid more attention to the engine!!! well as for the price !thats another story....Come again...

This car has been made again and as before it is in orange and still using a manual engine beleave it or not. At this min in time it is in nottingham. Let us know if you want to see pics

All that and a standard steering wheel? It aint worth all them european dollar things. Its no better than some of the cars owned on this site.

Theres a member on here (not mentioning any names) who i met last year, with a swb tt. It's taxed as a commercial. somehow the original importer into Ireland managed to pull a fast one i presume by claiming it was two seats and three doors .Don't know how, I wouldn't believe it until I saw the car and tax disc with my own eyes. 150euro tax. Tax for a z over here is normally 1120euro.

So I know what your saying. It's quite likely you could get a tax office pleb on a monday morning and play dumb.

Having said that, every Z I imported was thoroughly checked by the customs office, I'm still amazed how this guy managed it. And jealous lol!

the wheels are nice though i guess thats what makes it 22k :)
