Anyone seen on the news? Mcrae's chopper has crashed? They can't confirm if he was on it, but sure as hell, they'd know about it if he wasn't onboard.

 

So, not looking hopeful. RIP Colin if you were on there.

Just said on the news that his 5 year old son, was also killed! :cry:

his son and his sons friend also were killed im in a state of shock i met him a few years ago he signed a photo i had of his 1st subaru he seemed such a nice chap very down to earth

Dreadful news. He seemed such any ordinary bloke but with extra ordinary driving skills.

Really sad and upsetting news... Thoughts go out to Colins family and friends, he will be sadly missed but never ever forgotten... He made those imprezza's dance... Hopefully CodeMasters will still keep producing his games as a fitting tribute... R.I.P Colin and Johnny...

The news also said they would not be able to remove bodies from the wreck for another 2 days as it's still far far too hot...... :shock:

i believe the talent he had driving them imprezzas made the cars as popular as they are. a true legend sadly missed. RIP to all involved.

didnt mean it to sound like that, what i meant was he risked his life for his passion, then died in a helcopetr crash, maybe something he did without batting an eyelid if ya know what i mean

whats weird is colins manager dave richards from prodrive was in a helicopter accident the next day with his wife. He was the manager for mcrae when he won the championship back in 95 or when ever it was

 

richards crashed on sunday on the way back from the belgium grand prix

he did some very interesting project cars to!
