Just noticed turbo gauge pressure on mine goes from -7 to +7, presume this is standard on the jap spec tts. It does goes 4/5 of the way accross so think its all working ok.

Sounds like your in safety boost, the needle should all the way across to +7

4/5's sounds about right, if it goes all the way across this usually means somebody upped the boost. Should goto the last bu one line on the right.

Think turbos ok just the guage has me foxed. though guage was supossed read -14 to +14, mine goes 7 to 7, is that the norm on jap guages?

Uk gauge will read in psi, Jap gauge will read in 100mmHg.

So, 700mmHg is almost identical to 14psi.

Mine goes bangin all the way over and a lot further if there was any further. I have some indiglo clocks that have 14 on them but I presume thats a load of B';lox because its the same needle and gauge as it was before. But that goes all the way past the +14. So I would guess that mine is running higher boost?

My old Jap spec must have had boost jets fitted then, I stand corrected ;)
