any rough idea how much, and how much of it will be labour in pulling engine (if thats really necessary)

you dont have to take the engine out, you can get to the turbos from under the car. But it takes just as long.

 

I have no idea of how much it costs to take an engine out.

Yes Stu that's correct,but not if you don't want any turbo problems, best to pull the engine to eliminate all manifold problems.

cost is around £600 to pull engine.

Yes I thaught so.

I remember some one talking to me when I first got my car. He said he worked on them and they get to the turbos from under the car. Didnt think they have much room that way.

Yup Ians right, its pointless. You might as pull the engine so you can also look at any connections wiring state of manifold ect.

Then of course your looking at least 500 per blower if they are in normal nick.

Bit extreme when all that is wrong is the battery is flat and there is too much oil innit clarkeyson old son wink.gif
