I've searched and searched but is there any info on doing the pedals for the man. conversion. I'm thinking brake pedal could be just "shaved off" a bit,I have a pedal to put in if not. If anyone knows of any other links than z1 motorsports?

I'm trying to print off as much info as i can for the garage, I think it would of help great help to him. He's a good mechanic but never worked on a 300 before so any time saving, frustration saving tips would be extremely grateful. he reckons the pedals will be the trickiest bit.

I found loads of lists for the conversion parts needed on a search, but not too much info on what not to do, common mistakes etc.

thanks in advance :)

You can cut the auto pedal down(that's what I did) but if you have the manual one may as well fit it!

When I fitted the clutch pedal (n/a) it wasn't too bad, just got backache LOL!

Yours will have a booster,so might be trickier! :wack:

NA is simple 20min job

TT is a fiddle, but if you have done a heater matrix bypass before on a manual you know what to expect, its just awkard really

you can cut the pedal down with a grinder, use a brake pedal rubber as a template draw around it and cut! just cover the floor and surounding area, otherwise the sparks will burn your carpet!

we use a hacksaw and cut it slowly rather than singing the carpets LOL

be quicker to change the pedal than use a hacksaw :wack: :p

we use a hacksaw and cut it slowly rather than singing to the carpets...... LOL
