How's about arranging a big get-together for everyone for april-may next year? Do it now and no one has an excuse not to attend. It was a real shame we had such a small turn-out at zedfest but those that went will know how good it was to meet up with other forum members and actually meet them face to face ;)

 

I think Billing Aquadrome would be a *reasonably* central venue but any other suggestions are welcome?

One thing we are looking into aswell is some form of mini cruise. Unsure of any details yet but if it goes ahead will probably be around lunchtime on the Sunday. If anyone is local to the billing area do they have any suggestions for a route?

I would be up for this event, most definitely, but I wanna pick up on a few earlier points...

Right, I'm about to confirm the booking with Billing. Evening entertainment is out of the question in the form of a bar/disco as they don't have permission for this in that field. We are allowed a Marquee though so I don't see why a quiz etc shouldn't be possible :)

 

Date 9-11th May 2008

Price £13 per person per night camping, £10 single day - the camping rate is discounted from £19 due to us having large numbers. (I'm assuming its per person but will verify)

 

Once booked they will add it to their calendar of events on their website for next year, so may well get some interest from elsewhere :)

it would be excellent but they do not have a licence for entertainment so we have got to come up with some alternatives, it beggars beleif you need a licence for a bit of bloody music!!
