Excuse my stupidity but is the manual TT engine the same as the Auto i know they have different turbos & cams but just wondered if a manual engine will fit straight into my Auto or what i would have to do to make it fit??

yes they do

allthough there are a few bits to take of your maunual engine to fit to your auto one, to allow the auto gbox to fit to a manual engine.

Gearbox spigot bush in the crankshaft for one...

I think it is the torque converter and something to do with a shaft or splines.

i'm sure the fly wheel and starter motor aren't the same

auto has a differant type of ringgear

starter is the same

 

all thats needed is..

manual spigot bushing

flywheel and clutch of course

 

no other differances that need to be changed.

and metal plate that sits in between transmission/engine
