recently i have noticed alot of people round where i live wearing white plimsolls , me not being a great fashion freak thought why not , try a pair . so have bought a pair and to my amazement they are the most comfy pair of trainers i own . i have got trainers costing in the region of £130.00 [nike shox]

and these £5.99 white lace-up plimsolls are more comfy than my nike . who on here would try them . once you have you won't want to take them off . this is my thoughts . what do you guys and gals have to say ..... ps have put up a couple pics of my plimsolls . these are the ones to have . very very comfy and fashionable you wouldn't regret buying some . best shoes i;ve bought in a long time . :)

I am not a great follower of fashion although I try to be trendy to a point. Its no good being or looking like a old fogey. But I know what you mean and plimsols are becoming more popular. The trouble is once they are "IN" the price of £5.99 will go up to £59.99 and everyone will buy them then. Funny old world aint it?

yeah you are right . i have seen prices for them in some shops for around th 40 quid mark . crazy

We were issued with those pumps, in the army in basic training, they used to call them...Pumps Electric. :D

I wear plimsolls/pumps, slim(not skinny) jeans and cardigan or a waistcoat on a night out. might just be a Derby thing mind

thing is, many things that are "FASHIONABLE" i would not be seen dead in, just because celebreties (as they usually start the trends)are seen in something it does not mean i want to be a sheep and follow everything they do. Kate moss wears Chanel, so what she also had a drug habit, does that mean i should get one of those too?

 

I hated wearing uniform at school, as all youngsters do, so im buggared if im conforming to one now im an adult. I wear what i feel comfortable in and sod whether the magazines say i shouldnt.

 

If you are comfortable in Plimsoles, excellent, lifes too short to worry about what over people think of who you are or what you wear

like i said . i find them really comfy .so will continue to wear them . it sure beats spending £100 on exspensive trainers that arn't that comfy . after all that is what matters . comfort . and they seem to go with what ever you are wearing . long live plimsolls . :cool: :cool: :cool:
