the torque of the spider is 275 lbf·ft where as mine is 366 lbf·ft

well the zeds had a bit of a diet, lighter decats and down pipes, no AIV's/ carbon canister, lighter seats, and i cleaned the ash tray out

Been test driving a 355 and only mod is a tubi exaust and to be fair the car gets up to 120mph a hell of a lot quicker than my z and just feels quicker to.

 

My z is not slow by any means but that 360 was either not running right or the guy was playing with you

i have had 3 ferraris in my zed so ignore the disbelievers and enjoy the feeling of killing a supercar ;)

 

trouble is people who own em have no idea how to drive em and generally are too scared of braking them ..

 

and i did catch a gallardo in mine on a track ;) , caught him at 156 and passed him at 160 ...

 

lighter cars get the jump on the zed but the torque of the v6 particularly a tuned one is massive and it makes a huge difference.

Well I absolutely wasted a 360 at santa pod back in 2005 (when my zed was still alive lol). Ok I wasn't exactly running standard power at the time ;) Before anyone says it was the driver, he was actually a race driver who raced them for a living lol...

The 360 is one of my fave cars and the only Farrari I would buy, if I could.

 

Now saying that i don't see why a Zed (tuned that is) wouldn't come close or even beat one giving the circumstances, Audrey was standard boost and I was pulling 5.5 sec 0-60

How can you beat a lighter more powerful car??? Unless the driver doesn't have a clue how to drive the car in the first place.

I drove my mates 360 spider a few times and its in a different league to a 15 year old Nissan.

Even if you where running 450bhp the Ferrari is still about 250kg lighter and naturally aspirated

i actually have a vid on my phone of me sitting behind a 360 modena and him hitting the limiter trying to get away, so :tongue: to anybody who thinks a 360 would "kill" a Z, they only have around 230-odd lbft to the wheels, fair enough on a track with similar drivers the ferrari would get away but in a straight line a decent powered Z would be in front.....till it broke down lol
