just fitted p28s to my 300, im out on a test drive and on full acceleration the car has shut down on me. it still spins over but will not start.

 

is this a safety boost function. if so how can i rectify.

As far as I know it should still start even if on safety boost.

 

Maybe its running rich and engine is flodded. Have you tried to remove the fuel pump fuse and cranking it over a few times?

Sorry, got you now, P28 turbo downpipes. My mistake.

No not a safety boost problem, car would still start and run, more likely to be the PTS, check for a spark and the harness connecter on the PTS to see if its loose.

wiggle or clean the connectors of the PTU (when standing in front of the engine, on the left side, square flat little box with 2 large connectors) and the connector of the CAS (when standing in front of the engine, on the right side, small round metal object with 1 connector)
