Master fusible link (blue with a wire loop)

As in picture...

Not an electronic expert... But fuse smelled burned and felt like it was broken... Is it possible to just change the wire on the fuse or to I have to get a new one?

And will the cars electronics work without that fuse??

Featured Replies

that looks like it has already been repaired, as they are normally as the others, and not with as yours looks, a bit of wire jammed each end i would say.

i'm sure that that fuse is meant to be like that, as both my zed's have the same blue wire as in pic,

Sorry trond can't help you with your question, but i think it has to be a replacement fuse as i remember icking one up for someone.

Searched courtesy nissan web site but couldn't find the fuse....

A fuse is just a section of wire rated to a certaain current and if that current is exceeded the fuse burns out. If you can replace the burnt out section with the correctly rated fuse wire then it should work the same.
