Hope someone can help.

the power light came on on the auto box then went off again doing about 30mph without foot down far enough to kick in the power mode. However i took it out for a spin tonight and neither the power light or hold light comes on now with the switch, it could be some sort of sensor but wondered if anyone else has had a similar problem.

Also when the car is cold and driving up a hill keeping a constant speed the engine seems to be choking until you give it more gas, it does it on the straight as well but more noticeable going up hill. I already cleaned the temp sensor, again wondered if anyone has had this problem.

Cheers

sounds like an electrical gremlin on the wiring somewhere, or an ecu prob. check all connections. is it going into od top?

had similar probs a few years ago, was a broken wire.

You may need to get an auto box specialist to da pin test on all the circuits.

Sounds like its gone into fail safe mode when it came on, try checking the auto box ecu is securely connected.

You can try a soft reset; disconnect battery for an hour or so.

if problem persists, wiring check then.

Too late already floored it lol, the power light came on and worked as it should, it must be something at the switch side near the selector lever, will check it out.

Is there a seperate fuse for the switch operation? Just wondered.

Cheers for your help.

If its gonna go pop by flooring it the damage has already been done.

The switch is wired up, and it worked fine till yesterday, it doesnt switch anything on or off, could it be just the switch needs replacing or something more serious.

Cheers
