I discovered today (with the help of repeated phone calls to AndyP, thanks again mate!) that my car has a Mines ECU, fitted in Japan.
Does anyone know anything about it/them?
All i could find out about it was this snippet of info.
Rev limit: 7550 v 7000 for stock
VTC solenoid: 4900 v 5900
Mines ecu at low TP at low rpm actually runs slightly leaner than stock
At low rpm and high TP it runs more lean.
High rpm and low TP is identical
High rpm and high TP more lean
Mines runs more advanced timing at high rpm, high TP and through mid rpm, and mid TP ranges, but is largely identical elsewhere.
Mines runs a almost idential knock timing map as its primary map.
It also runs an identical fuel map as its primary map, except the closed loop section is larger. Closed loop is where the oxygen sensors are used in determining the injector pulse width.
