Simple question . Just fitted a replacement indicator , for one which had a screw missing and found that the screw just turns without tightening ( which explains the missing original screw ) , As we`re dealing with plastic and using a fattter screw might break it , what to do ? A bit of white Blu-Tac seems a tad wish-and-hope .

All suggestions in the box by the watercooler

That's what I'd do - or use the glue gun (easier) and let the self tapper bite/tap in that.

 

 

edit - if Manta's right and there's a metal clip missing, pouring glue in there won't work - obviously.
