When I accelerate hard my power light comes on. If I then go lite footed it will stay on for a short period then go off.

Is this just telling me I should push the button?

I've never used these buttons, what are your experiences guys?

it just swithches to that mode when you keep pedal to the Metal so to speak then reverts back to normal when you ease up. also swithches air con off to for max power.

Hold is useful in the wet, ice and for eco runs etc.

i cant believe you didnt push it... its a button. All buttons, especially red ones have to be pressed at all cost!

Yeah, I know Quavey, have obviously checked it illuminated lights but have never used it on the road, have only done 2000 miles since engine rebuild so am still making sure its ok. I also always wondered what that little orange stick thing was, directly in front of shift lever, until it stuck in park as solenoid didn't work, so pressed it!!!!! Hey presto, it came out of Park. Doesn't help all the Jap writing!!!
