I have been searching insurance from various places and my best quote was £820.00, Not bad for the 300TT I want (which i'm off to view in a bit). Just for information, I'm 27, 4 years NCB and live in a 'good' area (according to the insurance people) Is this a good quote?

very good quote, im 27 no 6 years no claim, south african and live also in a good are according to them, i was quoted £1220.00 per year

Thats with axa through Bennits insurance brokers.

 

There really good had one claim only dealt with very quickly

I asked this question about a month ago, check out archives, everyone was reqally helpful and now I am insured with a broker called Privilige on a low mileage classic car policy with a firm called Groupama - for around 450pds.

 

Your quote sounds good as I presume its not on a limited mileage (6,000/yr), but I don't do that many miles anyway so I'm pleased with my price, maybe you should look into this.

 

A few people have put phone numbers on the past postings. If you want I can dig their number out, don't have it on me at the mo.

 

I'm 31 with 5 years NCB and Quinn's Direct charged me £813 this year.

 

I was well pleased because, living in Northern Ireland, I don't have a lot of choice in insurance companies. The usual responce to a "BT..." postcode is "Sorry sir..."

 

think its time I shopped around .

I am currently with privilage ..Last year fully comp (protected n/c) £540

had my renewal today £690!!! I think this maybe becouse they are now part of direct line but £150 increase is ridiculous!!!
