At the moment my square number plate is attached to a stock zed from bumper with folded off industrial sticky tape and it looks crap, sags :( I need some bracket or anything short of super glue that will fix it good and proper to the bumper..?

Umm if i put some tape over the number plate and drill a hole in will it fracture? It seems to be made of fibre glass typey stuff.

should'nt crack, they are usually drilled when fitted. But I would get some of the Numberplate sticky pads instead.

if you are going to drill it then drill from the back and put some tape on, this will prevent tearing up the laminate.

Never understood why people drill holes in bodywork and fit ugly screws etc. I've always stuck mine on. Looks so much neater. :)

Mate, if you want to drill the plate, drill from the front resting on a block of wood. Drill fast but don't press too hard as this might crack it, sort of let drill do work/melt your way through.

Well i have had two number plates with the sticky pads and they have both fell off. I feel a right wally getting home and lo there is no front number plate. I shall drill the plate and bolt it with spacers to the front bumper. Did think about a front sticker number plate on the nose but that would look crap.

get a plastic graphics place to knock you one up and its sticky :)

Znut, think you need to get that blue stuff off your plate, you cant see the letters.

Old bill will get ya! :wack:

I have secured the number plate to the front bumper with a couple of M8 screws and bolts but when drilling one hole it made two facture tears on the front about 2" long, grr. Might need a sticky pad at the top as it waggles about but maybe the front air pressure will force it back :wack:

Mine's held on with velcro. Handy for quick removal for track and dyno runs.

Also easy for pikeys to steal and run around with on their car :/
