:headvswal Hi all, was wondering if anyone has any idea where the internal temp sensor for the air con is located as my ambient temp at the mo is -86 and the air con wont kick in..... thx all... help most appreciated... :smash: :xxx: :)

ambient temp shows the outside temp, and sensor is located behind the front bumper next to the Drivers side horn. Its a small black box about 2cm x 2cm with a lead coming of it.

There is also a sensor under the map light cover (Controls the fan speed in relation to cabin air temp) with a small fan just above it (If you apply gentle heat to it with the climate control on the airflow should increase and then decrease when cooled)(thermo resistor) and a sensor on the dash near the front windscreen defogger.

Getting more complicated now...hehe! thx alot! :)

fwiw, I couldn't manage to get the roof fan thing to stop rattling so ripped the whole unit out, it made no notable difference to the operation of the system.
