i kept biting the inside of my jaw all the time, would ache like hell, gums would swell..........was a wisdom tooth playing up,had it took out, since then theyve been fine.....

you may be onto something, it is the side where my wisdom tooth has grown that hurts the most

fook another trip to the dentist, wish i was on the dole lol

I have grinded my teeth all my life,I also had a gum sheild to try and break the habit, but couldnt bear to wear it... since I have had my wisdom teeth out I dont tend to do it that much now, might be a good to have wisdom teeth out, bloody hurts tho :( let us know what the dentist says

if it is the wisdom, get the ****er out..........my dentist was a tosser,he just filled it twice!!!!!........went to another dentist, she had em out in about 3 minutes........she was using a screw driver type thingy, grinding the ******* out,was like a scene out of a horror movie, blood flying everywhere.......no more dodgy gums and jaw though......

i have 2 sayings in life which ae true

1. why uphold the law innocently, when the law protects the criminal

2. why do i work when i could get so much for free

if i was on the rock and role (dole) i would be in the dentist chair tomorrow free of charge and get the best treatment available

Jaw one was good stella. Did you see it...?

An ex girlfriend of mine used to do something similar. She didn't just grind her teeth, she used to snap them together. Result was that I didn't get much sleep, but also her jaw used to click and that's a bad thing apparently which could lead to lockjaw.

In the end she saw a dentist about it and got given some sort of gum shield thing which stopped her being able to mash her teeth, which in turn stopped her jaw clicking. Didn't make much difference to me sleeping, because I'd got used to it by then and the shield scared the crap out of me if I woke up in the night, because it was bright pink and looked to me like my lovely lady had been stolen and replaced by a rugby player.

It's supposed to be caused by stress that your worrying over in your sleep. Don't do it personally but the missus does it quite a lot mate.
