Hey all

 

Still trying to find why my car wont start!!! but have noticed the following:

 

The negative cable from my battery goes first to a clamp that has it bolted to the car body. It then goes along the top of the engine bay and then drops straight down behind where the loom goes through the body wall into the cabin. Just as it gets level with my air con pipes there is a big copper ring on it that clearly should be connected to something. If you follow it past here its connected to the gearbox.

 

Where does it go? back of the engine or onto the body again? would this cause my car to suddenly decide not to start?

IIRC back of the engine,block or head can't remeber! :wack:

Thanks mate ill see if I can hire a thai lady to screw it back into the back of the engine. Maybe if I take the AC out again it might be easier.

 

Would this cause my car not to start or is it just that the car hates me?

Doubt that's your problem,as long as the other eyelet is on the g'box!
