any one?

I wouldn't try and run higher boost or mess about with a boost controller on a standard chip, you'll destroy your engine.

The car will only boost and fuel to stoc chip settings. I would say you have the boost controller set too high for the stoc chip and thats why you have a reading of 65% on the controller even though the car is on full boost which equates to 65% of the setting you have the controller set at.

no the boost controller is on setting off its not set thats what im saying.

O right. You could be in safety boost then, which is the stock setting about 7psi if the controller is off

what he said!

Sounds about right to me. If the controller is set to OFF, you should just get normal boost, which if I remember correctly can go up to about 9 to 9.5 psi.

I thought the unit of measurement on the AVC-R was kg/cm², and 1 kg/cm² equates to 14.22 psi. And so 0.61 kg/cm² equates to 8.67 psi. Pretty close to standard boost, which is correct if you haven't had the car chipped yet. I wish my car would do the same when set to OFF. :(

TBH mate seeing as yer in the Northwest, when yer happy your running what chip etc you want, pop along to either RC developments or DP Motorsport both in Warrington and have them do it, i did that and it was done in like 30mins with no messing, once done, i ain't touched it. These guys intsall and set up AVC-R's all the time so know how to do it properly.

also if its close to stock boost there must be a leak if it dont get bang on stock boost figures lolll being greedy now...

Hi mate it was quite some time ago i used either DP or RC, however as long as the AVC-R is in the car and working in a fashion, then 40 bucks should see it done, it don't take em long, however am sure they can advise over the phone, just make sure you state it is already fitted and working.
