Hiya people, ive just signed up to the forum, I currently have an NA supra, have ownly owned it about 3 months but am already getting itchy feet and want more power. However TT manual supras are waayyy too expensive for me, and I rather like the look of 300zx's which is handy as they seem a lot cheaper in my requirements!! Anyway I guess I thought id post up my situation and see what response I get. Ideally id love to do a swap or px with my supra, but I cant see why a TT owner would want to swap to a lower powered car?! Hit me back with suggestions :)

I think I have seen you post on the supra forum... your up by burnham arent you? Would definitely be good to have a look at a few to hepl decide, maybe if go out for a spin in one if someone would take me!

well... firstly what is your budget?

From memory you can get a manual TT for the same money as a good 300zx... but im not sure how good the cheaper manual TT supras would be... are they as unreliable as Z's? But cheap Z's are a very big risk! £2k twin turbos's are not always the best way to go.

But having said that happy searching and i hope you find a nice one... just DONT crash it ;)

have a look in the rides section!! loads in there to give you some ideas!!

hello btw lol!!

hey guys, thanks for the replies!

firstly a little about my supe. its a 93 NA, just shy of 100k miles, cat back xs power exhaust, 17" advan kreuzer evolution's: 10j (265) rears 8j (235) fronts (I think!), since ive owned it ive had new clutch, crank oil seal, gearbox seals, battery, the exhaust and will be doing cam belt/oil/plugs very soon.

Heres a couple of pics:

My budget is really dependant on what I can get for mine!

So are Zeds a little unreliable? That could be an issue as once bought and payed for im not going to have much cash left to play with should things go wrong!!

TT 6 speed supra's dont come up often for less that 8k so well out of budget for me!

always liked the dash of a supra, just not to keen on the loks, although some are nice on the eye, fook now im confused lol

welcome to the forum bud

I agree, the dash does look good.

There is something about stock looking supras that just doesn't appeal to me.

Good luck with the sale/swap matey...

mac300zx what sort of deal would you be looking at in p/x? I couldnt do anything for a few months until ive sorted my finances out a bit, but your car looks nice certainly what id be looking for.

I'm looking to sell/px a bit quicker than that unfortunately.

Spongey, thanks for doing the link :)

Used to have an n/a manual supra, very good cars.

You gotta work them a bit though, 3rd gear just never ended!

Surprisingly economical too.
