why I bought a Zed.

 

Had her out for a drive on Saturday as I hadn't driven her for a while. We decided to go to Milton Keynes...on the way back, England had just finished triumphing over Denmark and the roads were pretty clear.

 

So why is it, then, that an Audi tried to hitch a lift in my boot?? Anyway, every time I accelerated, I left him standing, but would then come up against a car in front and have to slow down again. Queue Audi in boot...

 

Got to the bypass with about 2 cars on it and put my foot down. Audi didn't stand a chance!

 

Got to 140mph and the car was still pulling happily. Such a lift!

 

I know, I know, speeding is not big and it's not clever, but DAMN it's fun!

 

Just thought I'd share that with you all.

speeding is extremely big, and exceptionally clever

 

The way I look at it - the road had a 70mph speed limit - there were 2 of us in the car - 2 x 70 = 140.

Top job ajay! Keep laying the smack down with the right foot!

And just to add to this - we went to a bbq this weekend...nice clear A1, (well, until the Hatfield Tunnel...:rolleyes full tank of fuel....only managed 135mph though before a car pulled out and forced me to use that middle pedal thingy...the one to the left of the accelerator.....BRAKE! That's what it's called.

 

Also got complimented on how shiny she looked and got the usual gamut of "can we have rides, please.."
