Can anyone tell me how to remove the black trim strips that run along the side of the targa roofs and the edge of the windscreen without damaging them cos i want to recoat them as the black plastic coating is all peeling off.Any ideas would be appreciated.

Also, I would really consider just replacing the trim, rather than recoating. You can buy new trim from ZCentre and they really aren't that pricey. I did mine a while back - here's a thread with the pics:
