Went to the Rolling Road today but on the way noticed I was loosing water!

Closer examination revealed small crack in plastic top of radiator drivers side.

Any chance of repairing this or does it mean a new radiator?

Cheers - Dave

Now after reading this thread i am confused, mine is a 1993 UK TT and my rad gave up the ghost yesterday, it has plastic caps at the sides and cap in same place as TT rad but there is no oil cooler pipes to rad, I believe it may have had a uprated oil cooler for auto box as i have a reciept from the PO suggesting that, would this be right or have i got some oil cooling missing?

if i get a TT rad will i have 2 holes on rad i cant use?

Thanks

I'm no expert but I think the auto version does have additional outlets for the g/box oil cooler (see legrath's post - No.11 on this thread). The TT version is also different to mine (see the same post).

I suggest you give Advanced Radiators a call on 0191-267-3312, what have you got to lose?

Good luck - Dave

ps - BTW I don't get commission
