blue smoKe on idle, changed pcvs (ta andy and a free conzult) tooK car 2500 miles round germany and europe for ten days, autobahns the lot, no smoKe at all !!!!!!wooohoooo.

 

gets to a services to juice up, bit of blue smoKe a bit oily smell. gets home, letf it to idle for 7 mins after a 250 mile drive,nowt.

 

left for a day started up, WHITE smoKe from both zausts, turned on next morning same thing. TooK for run, no smoKe on return after idle, tooK for short run today white smoKe from both exhausts on return after idle, it wont maKe its mind up.

 

could it be that the pcvs are blocKed/mucKy again after 2500miles? i Know the one about the turbos but i dont liKe that avenue.

s**t man bad news, im meeting andy hopefully on tuesday nit im dreading it i seriously cant afford a engine drop and turbos im gona try sort the pcv valves b4 then. what u gona do leg nose ? u going for engine drop?

taKe a grand off the for sale price or run it this summer and garage it over the winter and get it sorted.

it doesnt smoKe a lot and once it burns off doesnt smoKe at all until i parK up for 4-5 mins, andy says the tubs are only leaKing a bit.

strange how if i parK it uphill it doesnt smoKe at all!! any ideas anyone?

did you get your pcvs done, this sorted mine for 2500miles, im gonna soaK em in petrol and see if that stops it for a bit.

these cars are strange, i changed my oil on saturday to millers motorsport 10 60 thinking it was thiker than 10 30 on sat it smoked a bit but for the last 2 days its not smoked at all, apart from this morning first thing but i gess that was due to it being a bit cold and damp weather all cars were smoking!! i had to check that out to make myself feel better loll, im doing my pvc valves soon as i can get the right tools im taking to andy 2morrw but dont know if theres any point with it not smoking at all!! even the oil smells gone! see how long it lasts. i use it all day and sunday i took it yorkshire just had a little puff very light going there on motorway stuck in traffic but after that till 2day no smoke at all!! strange. let em know how u get on with valves
