5 bloody newsagents yesterday with no luck so I had to go back to that hellhole on the North Circular that is Tesco's this am. Sorry about the quality of the jpgs as the *&%^ scanner will only do pdfs so the jpgs aren't native. After I have beaten up our IT manager later, I'll try again. Or you could even buy a copy! (support the press supporting us)

In terms of performance, value for money and outright ability, there isn't much to touch them.
Quite right too :D Thank you Ian, Classic Car Weekly http://www.classic-car-weekly.co.uk/ and, of course, Craig David.

PS - just found out IT manager is skiving today so you're going to have to buy copies, you cheapskates ;)

Excellent! Nice pic of Tim's motor there! Is the writeup good though? Can't read the text.

PS....fitting those new rims to the car has totally transformed it. Looks absolutely stunning now. Never felt the old rims were all that flattering to it, but these current ones are absolutely perfect. :D

Yes it's a good write up - text should be OK in the pdfs, though.

Hmmm - according to Enthusiast's Companion, 300ZX Turbo 2+2 Euro spec was tested by Car back then at 5.7s 0-60mph

Seen this error quite a few times. Some advise on a 6.5 second run to 60 and others almost a second quicker. No one seems to know! LOL Personally think it can't be 6.5 to 60 as that's only 0.7 seconds quicker than an Astra GTE 16v! LOL

Nice read. Dissapointing about the incorrect 0-60 figure though. Its 1 second out, usual figures are 5.5-5.7secs , Car and Driver even managed as low as 5.2secs with a standard SWB TT.

Cheers Si - I'm pleased with the wheels. And thanks for reminding me Gio.

The photos are ones I took. The guy from the newspaper took some himself but asked for mine as well and it looks like they've used mine.

I'll go out and try and get a copy later today hopefully.

I just think you need to haul ass and find a nice evening with setting sun levels and get out and take some arty farty shots. Your car's is very photogenic due to the colour and styling.

They should have got you to write the piece as well and then you could have been paid for it!

I am going to scrutinise the write-up that's going into Japanese Performance. I have it on good authority from the editor. hehe

I guess I could have done the write up I guess. They're quite a small outfit though and they tend to pay less than the big glossies though...

I've done stuff for Japanese Performance in the past - it's a good mag.

In a 300zx book i have, apparently the 1992 TT manual was slightly quicker than the rest which is 0-60 in 5.2secs

WhatCar and AutoCar mags both achieved 5.6 with a stock UK manual car back in 1991.

Richard ;)

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
