Just been reading a thread on pistonheads about the best handling car ever being between a Lancia Delta HF Integrale and a Honda Integra Type R... :headvswal

If you were to name the top 5 handling cars - I bet none would be in that list.

Whats yours - and please keep it to cars you have driven.

1. Lotus Exige

2. Caterham 7

3. Mazda MX5

4. Nissan 300ZX

5. Focus ST 225

GMC Pacer - isnt that the waynes world car?

Hi,

It's actually the AMC Pacer, made by American Motors Corporation in the US.The only car in it's day to have one door longer than the other, as the passenger door was 4inches longer than the driver's door to aid access!

As the question didn't specifically say road legal cars, I would have to say the following:

1) Formula Palmer Audi

2) Renault Clio Cup car :hyper:

3) Caterham 7 :D

4) Mitsubishi Evo VI

5) Nissan 300ZX TT :nana2:

It's not strictly a list of those that would go quickest around a corner, but more a combination of that and good, clean, unadulterated, seat-of-your-pants fun :D :D :D

I would really like to stick go-karts in there, because I've done plenty of karting, but having already sidestepped the question slightly by adding one single-seater I thought two would be pushing it!

1. Ford Fiesta RS

2. Ford Focus ESP

3. 300ZX TT

4. BMW 325i

5. Ford Escort RS (S2)

well theres my not very interesting top 5, which would be followed by...

...

42. Ford Escort Mk4

...

56. VW Polo Mk1

...

98. Ford Orion Mk3

99. MG ZT (at Brands, like driving an underpowered concrete block through mud)

100. Mazda MX6 GT (aka the barge).
