At last, just got word that the GT2530 turbo's in the tt.net GB are on route.

 

Might have them fitted just in time for the dyno tun.... whenever that is!

They have caused severe destruction to my bank overdraft in the sum of $3175.00 +shipping and taxes..... ouch

 

This is still better than the £3,600+vat that TDI wanted.

Darren will be fitting the turbo's for me although I'm not sure the wife will approve of the engine in the dining room ;-)

 

They come complete with gaskets oil lines and necessary adaptors to mount onto the engine.

 

They are good for 600hp+ but other internal modifications would be necessary to extract that much power.

 

They have been tested in Japan and were bolted onto a manual Z with an internally stock engine and produced 445hp at the wheels at 17psi boost.

I know.... I've been in Bernie's Z when I met him in Miami.

 

He wouldn't let me have a go though and his steering wheel was on the wrong side :-)

 

Bernie has forged pistons, wild cams and NOS which wasn't switched on when I was there so he's able to get that bit more power.
