i REALY want my Z to sound like this HKS exhaust. Anyone know the model??

 

Can i replicate this with a custon (probably diy :D ) system.

Sounds like an N/A to me. So you'll not really be able to replicate the sound to that degree. Personally think N/As with large exhausts sound a bit raw and unrefined. Still sounds nice though. But prefer the note of a TT.

Well i have a pair of kakimoto back boxes and a standard mid x pipe. Gonna 'chop' the silencer out the x bit and go from there

No Way!!!! NA's have a much deeper sound than the turbo's and not so raspy either...

Its definately an NA because there would be blue smoke coming out of it if it was a Turbo.....lol

Yep I,ve got a TT engine as well but I chopped the turbos off.......

Was gonna say rocket, why don't you stick the Kakimoto exhausts on and see what they sound like first, I think they are the best sounding exhaust available!!

my scorpion sounded awesome, a lovely low burble (like a v8) on tick over, and howled like a fookin banshee on full chat, i only changed it cause the tail pipes didnt suit my fat arse, although i do have it decatted aswell, my japspeed sounds great, just not too keen on the raspy sound at 3000 rpm

You can't beat the sound of a nice de catted Z32 NA exhaust!...Lovely at tickover, amazing at full chat!

NA's do sound better, even though ive only owned TT's, the sound of the NA's is awesome. go for a ride in shunters NA convert and see what i mean.
