Hi All,

We (South Central hooligans) are organising an IOW weekender…..

As you know we have a member on the IOW (Scotty) who, bless him, always has to travel over the water to come to meets. So we’ve decided to pay him a visit and are making a weekend of it.

It would probably be from Saturday morning to Sunday. Camping, nice drive around the Island, BBQ, Drink, blah blah the usual! :D

The date is 1st/2nd September and if you would like to join us! You are more than welcome.

He is looking into ferry prices and will let us all know when he has some info. I know his zed is much lower than the standard and he manages fine (just incase you are worried)

If you’re up for it please pop your name down in the SC section

Thanks and hope to see you there!

I'll be 9,000 miles away....but will be there in mind...hope you're not camping in 3ft of water. lol

I reckon that's a cracking choice for a meet, I have not been there since about 1960, I am definitely up for that.

You must have sailed over on this thing then, or something similar....

I'd be up for this, love the IOW...great roads, great scenery. Used to drive over there 2 or 3 times a year back when I lived in Berkshire.

I recognise that....

i would have made the effort but it involves sea travel and there is more chance of extracting my eyeballs than getting me on a ferry lol

shame realy never bee to the Isle of Wight

Sarah, the IOW ferry from Portsmouth is 30 minutes AND it's through the solent. You have more change winning the lottery than chucking up.

Id still chuck up lol plus im scared of boats lol

if you took anti sickness pills 30 mins before you got on and looked at the land line as you were traveling then you'd be ok i'm sure. as it's the movement of the body that the eye doesn't see that make you feel sick. Keep looking at the land line and it keeps the body in line

Hi 300zx_girl,

I was on my way from Cornwall to Bristol and I blew a piston, so its at Paul's waiting to have the engine rebuilt when he gets back from his honeymoon.
