Forum Feedback

OK, a bit of feedback, I've been looking at the forum for a few months now, i joned before i got my Zed hopeing to find one on the forum, however the cars for sale are not split by region so i gave up. It might be nice to have a region specific cars for sale section to help people looking for their first Zed, like me, they would probably rather buy from a enthusiastic owner than a garage, in he end i bought a freshly imported example.

I've bee thinking about going for the full membership so that i can pm some peeps local to me and find out what garages they use, i've looked in a few places and still can't find the cost of membership only different ways to pay. This is prolly just be being thick but if somebody could point me in the right direction i'd be grateful. However, that aside a forum i belonged to for another marque had a 'recommended servicing and specialists' by region, very handy when you're looking for somebody to work on your car who is knowledgeable and experienced.

Christ what a slating

TopLess if you read me original post you will see that i am joining and was merely looking for the cost of doing so. I agree totally that for the right Z you should be prepared to travel, it was merely an idea that a region by region for sale section would at least help you start localy and then widen your search. nothing to do with being lazy, just comon sense i'd have said.

I certainly didn't slag off the forum, the topic says 'feedback' and so i left some.

Thanks for your welcome (some of you) as i said in my post i did in fact find a nice freshly imported example that was completely unmolested that i can start tweaking, I actually posted a wanted ad on the site previously and thanked a few peeps for their help.

I've already fitted a Blizt induction kit and Mongoose cat back exhaust together with an Alpine Multi Media dvd/divx centre. Having to sell one of my other cars to pay for the rest of the stuff to do. When we finally get some nice weather i'll take some pics but until then i've only got the ones taken at the importers showroom i bought it from here: -

Right well despite my slating and the rude welcome - by some to a prospective new member - i'm off to send my £20, see if i can't earn a bit more respect.

thanks chaps

Hello and welcome. You think that was a slatting? You should have been around just over 2 years ago when I joined. :D But hey! I am still here and probably given more than I ever got? This is a great forum. One of the best I have had anything to do with. Ok sometimes new people hit the wrong button but everyone worth anything stay around and end up having a really good experience.

Lets hope your first experience ends up making you smile as you get to know us?

Must say at least you got yourself noticed !!

And at least you never just got ignored....been on a few forums where you say "Hi, I'm new here" and 16 days later you get ripped to bits for asking a question!!

Aye i'll be asking some questions sure enough, i'm just waiting for my full membership to be confirmed and then i'll be picking some brains unless i can find a Z specialist in Leeds to work on it, i'm old now, i don't enjoy tinkering with cars anymore, specially since they got so complicated. Tickover seems to have risen by about 250 revs so i upped the bonnet, took a long hard look........... and thought, 'bah, what's 250 revs between friends', mind you the ends of the exhaust are looking a bit sooty so it's prolly running a bit rich. From experience i would take a guess that i could be in for replacing the mass airflow thingy, couldn't find any vacuum pipes off but then i don't really know what i'm looking for. Horrors of Horrors, i might even have to get a workshop manual!!

The advantages of being on here are that you don't need to. It is online here.

Put a post up in help and advice and I'm sure someone will let you know what it probably is.
