Zed wheels?

Okay, Alesi is selling a set of Zed wheels from a 1993 UK Z32 TT, and I'm considering getting them and sticking them on my car (after fitting some Zed/S14 5-stud hubs) but what I need to know is whether they are going to fit otherwise without either sticking out too far or clouting the struts?

So here goes...

What is the offset of them?

What size are the wheels? 16 x **?

Are all the rims actaully the same size or are the rears wider than the front?

I know on the S13 you can run 225 front and 235 rear, but not sure about 245's on the rear, so if necessary would 235's or 225's fit safely on the rear rims if they are wider?

What are the std UK Zed tyre sizes front rear?

Cheers,

Jezz.

Hi Jezz!!

UK Z32 wheels are 7.5" front & 8.5" rear.

225/50/16 front, 245/45/16 rear

Jap Z32 wheels are 7.5" all round.

225/50/16 all round.

Maybe Jap spec better for S13s? Or UK wheels with a spacer on rears?

What about S14 16" wheels, how wide are those??

Hope this helps!!

Yeah S14 ones will go but they won't look as good/different as Zed ones and Alesi's are a nice price with tyres ready to go.

Do you think you could put 235's on if necessary on the rear rims?

I'll find out about the S14 ones, I have considered it.

Cheers,

Jezz.

Jezz,

I've just had a look at my rear wheels, and the tyres overhang rims by only about 1/4" at the maximum. I don't think you should change rears for 235s, it probably won't gain you a lot frown.gif Best to get a local engineering shop to make some 10mm spacers for you. Not sure how much thread would be left in nut when that is done though.

If you want, I could take two wheels off and measure mounting face/inside wheel measurement. Would that help mate???
