Changed my oil filter twice now and its still leaking from the filter seal, both times i have put the genuine nissan filter on and it still seems to leak oil when the engine is hot...what can i do?

Featured Replies

Could be the oil filter housing has a hairline crack and opens up when hot, a pig to replace in situ but possible.

Have you checked there's nothing above the filter thats leaking and making it look as if its coming from the filter ? Just a thought......

My rear main seal was leaking and it ran down onto the filter. Can make the source difficult to diagnose...
