I had a slight vibration at above speeds, took heat sheild off to take a look at propshaft & noticed the rubber in the shaft is worn away !! & theres lots of play, its near the mount please see pic.

 

How do i repair please ?

I fitted a one piece shaft on my last Z as the 2 piece standard item isn't normally any good for repair once the joint wears.

 

Do a uk search on google for prop specialists and speak with them direct for their recommedations.

 

Failing that, Mike Feeney will happily supply you a new one ;)

Forget the Nissan Main stealers, got my propshaft fitted with a brand new centre bearing & balanced, at an independant propshaft specialist in Neath for £100 :shock: not only a great price but it was done within 2 hours !!

I think the average price is over twce that at £220! so a good deal there!
