OK it popping and stuttering like a bugger if i put my foot down more than half way and it getting worse. Smell of petrol occasionaly.

 

on idle it decides to increase and decrease its revs after a minute or 2.

 

checked connectors and they are all fine, and brand new. any ideas.

been fine for years. last work was last year when i changed to 555 adn some other ods and sods.

Wiggle all the connectors while runnning to see if a dry solder has come up, but standard procedure is:

came home tonight and major smoke from teh back of the engine when i parked up. thought the car was on fire.

 

looks like tehre is a oil leak dripping onto the tubs.

 

guess Ill have to get teh engine swapped over then.

 

Shame I dont have teh money to all teh work in one go.
