Has anyone removed the fuel purge tank????

The small pipe at the bottom of mine has corroded away and the pipe is now hanging loose at the bottom. Have had a look for where it goes once it enters the car body but cant see where it goes off too so am wondering if it can be safely removed and if it can is there a guide to doing it properly...

Your carbon canister can be removed if you like - but what you describe is normal - i.e. the pipe that disappears into the chassis rail. I believe it's just a vent hose.

Another kind soul will be along shortly to elaborate on its removal I'm sure....
