A young king had a year to find the answer to this question

‘what women really want’ or be executed

he went back to his land and asked all his subjects to no avail

he could have asked the ugly witch on the hill but he refuted till the last day

he asked the question she did not answer due to she wanted to marry his good friend

Peter the knight of his armies

he explained his situation to Peter and as his good friend

it was better to marry her and keep the young kings head

he asked the witch again she gave him the answer

‘to the chance to run their own lives’

the young king duly gave the answer and was sparred his life

Peter married the hideous witch and she was placing all her lovely manners for all to see

Peter drank to lessen the blow of the night time activities and let his new wife get off to bed

As he stumbled up the stairs he entered the honeymoon sweet to behold upon a beautiful women laid upon the sheets

He could not believe his luck and questioned her

‘how did this happen’

she replied ‘ as you where so nice to me I can reveal my beauty’

she then went on to say

‘Peter would you like me beautiful in the day and ugly at night’

or

‘would you like me beautiful in the night and ugly in the day’

for Peter was perplexed as he could show of his beautiful wife in the day and come to bed to the horrendous witch

or have the darling to come home to bed at night as people snigger in the day

the moral of the story is ugly or beautiful they are all witches
