In a standard z32 ZX TT what should i expect to see my oil pressure and oil temperature readings at normal operating temperatures on a) a motorway, b) town driving and c) a good thrash

...also how long should i let my turbos run for before shutting my engine down after a good thrash???

cheers guys

my standard oil pressure guage is a reyt joKe it maKes it up as it goes along!!

Not sure what the temp should be.. but I think the pressure should be around 3.8 bar with normal driving at 3000rpm

The sender for the stock guage often fails, showing little or no pressure.

But if it is working OK then at full temp, 3000 rpm the needle should be just before the centre mark.

2 minutes idling time to let the turbos stop is fine.

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

A better way, IMHO, is to drive slowly the last mile or so. This way you get the cooling air flowing over the engine/rads/brakes/gearbox/diff/tyres etc etc.
