Exhaust Backbox

Is it possible to change just the back section of an exhaust on a Z as I would ideally like 2x2 3" chrome tail pipes but dont want to fork out for a full system?

    Do you mean stainless steel tailboxes? In which case yes, they unbolt from the mid section just forward of the diff.

    What company can be recommended for crafting a box to my design and fitting it through the holes in my rear bumper? I dont particularly want them to be any louder than the current exhaust though :S
