I've noticed my clutch is making a whining noise which dissapears whenever i depress it, it also now sounds like i've a supercharger installed which well was nice but gets on my nerves now....i need more peace!

It's an RPS street clutch and lightened flywheel which i've had for about a year and a half, the noise seemed to just appear one day and is definately not the gearbox noise or any other as it's easy to hear when the car is stationary and next to a wall!!!!!

Any help or good clutch experts greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Alex

it would be the release bearing if there was still noise with the pedal down, with it going when pedal is down I would say input shaft bearing, try changeing oil to redline mt stuff

think mine does it too but haven't driven my car for a while so can't remember! lol

My release bearing did the same for a while - just a pita, nothing to worry about :)

Did it stop after a while then?

Only thing that worries me is it never used to do it before?

If it is the input shaft bearing where would i change the oil for this.......never change the oil for this before?????
