I've had an idea for those who would like to learn to Drift? The Drifting Academy Drift do day courses and i believe you can take your own car as the zed fits all the spec they need. If there is enough interest i will find out more info :D

£299 to use their cars but might get that at a discount to if enough of us?

Tyres can be bought cheap as part worn just for the event if anyone so wished.

Why is your glass always half empty  Its a fun day out and a chance to put the car through its paces and learn a driving skill

My glass is half full at all times mate :duffer:

Before anyone got ahead of themselves I was being the modle of reason. Useing your own car for a track day will cost you £200 - £300 in fuel and service items on top of the fee.

Useing your car for something as extreme as this will cost you £500 - £1000 in service items. And thats if nothing brakes or you crash, heaven forbid.

on teh other hand. im in if its not too far away

I see the point your getting at as also mentioned by Royal. It would of been nice to take your own car but am happy to use their car, thought it would be a good idea for a good day out.

If your glass is always half full, tip a bit in mine mines empty at the mo lol :duffer: cheers

might this be soemthing the club might be able to help fund to a certain extent, just an idea but it would make a lovely idea for a national club event, could all camp and get legless and have the AGM there lol!!

Thats reasonable, will have to put a post up in the National Events to see how many are up for it.

shall you or shall i?

Everyone will be able to drift their Z by the end? This I've gotta watch! Can I book a spectator seat? ;)

Thats a bloody good idea. The Rotary club subsidises any club trackdays, usually around the cost of membership. There are rarely a huge amount of people who do them so it doesn't hit the clubs coffers very hard and it encourages people to get involved who might not otherwise.

I've posted in the other thread. I'm up for a day in their cars.
