just a quick waffle,

 

i went to santa plop today,

 

ran a 14.4 / at 94mph at only 6 psi boost.

 

got beat by quite a few cars. arse!!

 

i waffle some more later after my dinner.

 

there was a couple of zeds there, runnin low 13's!!

 

anyway. i need food.

Shit, so thats why there were no Z's at North Weald then.

 

Was there any Skylines GT-R's there?

 

I saw a couple doing low 11's(top of my wish list now)at the weald.

i think im gonna buy a bleed valve this week and then go next saturday. im sure the difference from running 6psi and runnning 12-15psi is gonna give me a hell of a lot better time than 14.4.

 

hopefully anyway.

 

anyone know where i can get a bleed valve from?

do you have any other mods?

What were the other Z's doing? i didn't see any today.

i just have zees de-cat exhaust system, hks air box, hks sbov and a sports clutch.

 

its pissing me off that i can only get 6psi.

 

er, i think the 2 zeds that were there were running in the 13's. seemed pretty damn quick!

 

and they had a serious habit of burning out their tyres on the line, very impressive.

 

they wer'nt far off the fastest of the day. i think i nitrous 500bhp cossy was the quikest at about 12 secs [he beat me mb a mile!!]

 

on my first ever run, i forget to change into second gear, i realised after i noticed i was doing 8000rpm, and it took a coupl eof seconds to ram it into second, by which time i had been done by a 205!! wooooopss!

 

Hi Veilside, saw your car but didn't get a chance to have a chat. The startline was damp and they hadn't treated the strip for a while as they have been rained off most of the big events. I ran 9 times (9 wins) and managed a best of the day of 13.422secs at 110.45mph, not bad but not good enough. The only skyline was a silver R33 GTR was USAF guy from Mildenhall, only had it for 8 months and done nothing to it and was at Pod for first ever time. The Z Club ran Round 2 of the ZClub Drag Challenge and due to few Zx's turning up it looks like I got best run of the day and bracket class winner too. Well pleased with my day.

you know that Wazza, Car is going in for the Crank seal at the beginning of the month, got my HKS Super Dragger on order now, apparently they don't do the twin exit version anymore, so I got a single version like yours. And stuffing those intercoolers of yours in my car as well in July, ooops and I forgot getting new rear tires. Worth a few a bhp I suppose! mmmm July is going to be an expensive month!

We need to beat my mates best time down the mad mile of 160mph, he took me down there last week after he had his cams fitted and he hit 150mph halfway down the mad mile and coasted the rest!

I was at North Weald on Sunday. It was so busy that I only got my first run in at 12 o'clock. 13.9 @ 99mph, Fluffed 3rd in to 4th. I left after that. There were loads of Skylines there.
