Anyone fancy a group buy on the complete clutch line replacement?

I am going to do a trial fit tomorrow, the place I am going through can supply these for £25ish delivered!

This line replaces the whole junk oem system from the master cylinder directly to the slave.

Cheers Greg,

At the mo this is for TT only if someone can confirm this fits the NA happy days :)

Can you tell us a little bit more about it? A £25 part for a Z is instantly something I'd like to know more about. I don't know enough about the master cylinder in the Z to know of the benefits.

Basically the slave cylinders in the zed are prone to going, the hose and master are pretty much the same as any other car.

The problem occurs when you replace the one of these components, the hydraulic system for the clutch is complicated. When you try to bleed the hydraulics it can be one ROYAL pita to say the least, and I am sure there are plenty of people running around with air in their system as we speak!

Also when you go to an armoured hose, there is more feel for the clutch as well and the biting point is more definate than a vague spongy type feel as stock!

Unbolt two bolts bleed the system and job jobbed :), car has to be jacked up btw!

Well, providing I can get Jimmer to assist, then sure. I'll ask if he wants one too! £25 is a bargain! For a more reliable clutch system with a firmer pedal. :)

Put me down for 1 please Mark as I am sure I have air in my system and would be good to simplify things and get a better feeling clutch !

Olly.

Santa what is your real location, or is chilli a joke from your username

He he,that gets a few people, tis an amusing whimsy on my part,i`m suprised nobodys pulled me up on the spelling, though at somepoint in the future me n the missus will be moving back to her homeland of madagascar n the zeds coming too! Oh n i`m in Essex, not far from Andy p.

good thing to add, any future leaks can be narrowed down with ease, especially the amount of junky feeds nissan use as standard.

and pedal feel is improved
