hi all, i have a problem with my clutch. after sitting in traffic and pressing up and down on the pedal alot the biting point got higher and higher. and it also went rock hard :D any help would be gratefully appreciated.

A similar thing happen to me and it turned out to be the master cyclinder that was buggered. Its definately hydraulic related so could be master or slave or could just need bleeding properly.

Suggest start with bleeding and see how it goes from there.

bleeding can be a pain, there is some help around here about doing it.

slave cylinder is the easiest to change!

master cylinder is a cnut!

Suggest start with bleeding and see how it goes from there.

Check the master cylinder first by putting your hand up to the top of the pedal and see if its wet.

I replaced the seals in my master cylinder recently, easy enough once I managed to undo the hydrolic pipe nut.
