anyone know what it is. this was modified by my father in the 71 and featured in the magazine the pics were taken from in 1972, which i still have. quality not too good though.

also theres a write up in there where a bloke was complaining that 4 star was going up 2p, from 22p to 24p, i hope hes still alive to see it now. at that time there was 2,3 & 4 star, diesel was about 8p a gallon & parafin around 5-6p a gallon. god, dont time fly. theres a used car price guide that i will copy and put up, that will maybe jog a few memories.

yeah. mostly there. lmao. consul capri, mk1 cortina rear lights and the old saab v4 headlights and trims. ive been trying to locate it for years. ive joined every capri club going. it was last due for taxing in 1982 and was red. when we sold it it was glass black with wolfrace wheels on. a freind of the family saw it for sale about 8 years ago with a few other cars in a magazine.

Different... not sure it's been modified for the better.. but it was Custom cars back then....

not sure but it may have been around chesterfield a few years ago in a 2 tone red /pink I remember it on the custom scene in the 80s as it stands out from other ford classics

ive tried just about everything possible to find out where it is and who owns it. theres only writing to dvla left now. like you say, its a one off, not another one like it so people would remember it, but nobody on the owners club has a clue. i even put it up on ebay untill the shytes removed it saying it was not an item of sale. its not been taxed since 1982

Looks like an Anglia on Steroids. Never seen one of those before.

Didn't Roland Rat have an Anglia? Pink?

hi Mario as I mentioned earlier on this thread Im sure that the car was in the Chesterfield area .If it was then you could contact the spire cruisers custom club.Unfortunately I dont have a contact number but it will be listed in the custom mags somewhere. hope this helps
