manual gearbox

Hi all,

 

Was wondering if there are any differanations from later models of a 89 tt manuals gearbox, mounts etc?

    Just internals AFAIK. After 96 I think. Use different syncros and bearings iirc. Much tougher gearbox.

    On my 1994 UK spec TT, there is a separate oil cooler and a temp sensor.

    Brilliant, going to see a zed tomorrow. am i right in thinking theres only the hicas system, weak hydrallic master and fuel rail that differ from the earlier zeds?

    Ive heard later boxes have double syncros to stop the crunching problem in 4 th and 5th.
