Max Power June issue

After donning a balaclava and under the cover of darkness, I bought the June issue.

Big Mac's car looks f*ck'in A1!!!

A few points:

You've got Max Power plates on the public highway, surely illegal and a good spanking if the cops saw them?

The back section of Max (Max Metal or something), states the 0-60 of the 300ZX TT as 7.1 secs!! WTF, all mine has is an aftermarket exhaust and is a jap model. It does 0-60 alot quicker than that!!!

FFS, my Fiat Marea was about that!!

Next is the top speed, 148mph, surely way off!!!

With the exception of the 300ZX pictures, how many trees died to create this pile of crap? No wonder I stopped buying this mind blowing shite years ago, toilet paper is more usefull, more interesting and cheaper!!!

I think its about time MaxP gets its figures sorted for these cars - 7.1 is probably the OLD Z31 not the Z32TT which (I think) does 0 - 60 in 5.4 or something v.close

if im not mistaken i they photoshop the max power plates on after they do the shoot.

Out of all the cars on display, one of the oldest cars in the mag, is def the best looking.

How many other cars still look as good as the Z after 10/11 years?

I had to wear my false beard and borrow Mac's Ray-Bans (see page 103!)when buying "macs power". Shit mag, but at least they picked a decent feature car for a change.

The only galling part is losing out to a fiesta as a cover car. I reckon they need a "stewards inquiry" into that decision!!

i used to subscribe to lax power, iremember the days when it was good. they used to do tests and everything.. i even remember when vicki butler henderson used to write for it, the first issue cost £1. look at it now.. costs a fortune.. its nearly all adverts... and whats left is just a wankfest for 16 to 18 year olds.. and what the fuck is that crap with those readers wives sort of bits with tarts saying how they take it up the gary glitter.. what a load of crap 99% of those featured wouldnt know what to do with a dick if it hit em in the face.

enough whingeing.. the magazine is shite.. but maccas car was the only reason i bought it and damn fine it looked too.

La Big Macs car looks awesome, it was a great spread make no mistake and 10 outta 10 to the big guy for being a game sport and putting the modded Z beast well and truly back on the map! Hurrragggghhhhhh!

Yep, Max Power plates are put on after using the amazing technology that is PSP or some other delightful piece of graphical morphing software.

Hey, I don't think Max Power is that bad...check out the Rottie in knickers and Bra in Totty Trumps! Gets my vote! LOL biggrin.gif

Fiesta was on the front cover for political reasons as they had Jap cars on the front cover for the past few issues...fair enough I suppose...but man...what a dog of a Fester if ever I saw one! LMFAO biggrin.gif
