just gauging interest .....how many would be interested in LED conversions to their rear lights ....??? i could possibly get this sorted if anyone is interested

 

dont know exact costs yet but there will be approx 700 leds used in the mod and it will involve sending your rear lights , they will be modified and sent back plug and play .........no details other than that ...just gauging interest before i say something to Matty

 

cost about 200 quid to convert roughly maybe more maybe less slightly ..

I'm very very interested. Providing they can be done to as gooder quality as the Clear Corners lights.

 

So, that would be converting both sides, each strip, 3 x arrays, 1 x brakelight array, 1 x running light array and 1 x indicator array?

 

This will leave the original defuser in situ then as per OEM look. Because if I get my 99-spec tail lights converted, I don't want them to look any different to how they look now.

i am sat talking to matt now and im going to donate a set of un used rears ( tinted ) to be pulled apart to see what si possible , we both wont be home until mid july so will post up later then if we get any joy

There's a few photos in there - the kit is one I designed myself and then contracted the work out to a local electronics company.

Thanks Matt. Will the Z32 arrays be slightly more packed? Could I leave the original red and clear defusers in mine? I want the LEDs to look quite hidden, but glow in the LED-esque way etc...if that makes sense?

PS....vid is great!! As with LEDs though, look far better in the flesh!
