good ridance Tony enjoy your last holiday at chequers courtesy of me!!

ill give Gordon a go, anyones better than Tony!!

I had to laugh last night when they said that Blair might become the midlle east peace minister or what ever the title is. He's the fooker that sent our troops into the middle east to kill them in the first place. Not IMO the obvious choice????

they need to create some job for him to do!!

maybe Mr W Bushs arse wiper, its becoming highly popular for high profile Brits to buggar off state side when we dont want them anymore, it worked for Beckham!!

get ready for the brown years

(the brown shit years!)

The only answer to our governmental problems is there but it isnt an easy one................

We all have a meet at southhampton. After a decent chin wag and a look at each others cars we get on a slow baot to Australia. On arrival we find a decnet pub and have another look at the cars and a few pints and dont ever come back to this sh1t hole again? :duffer: :x:

and have the priviledge to enjoy a fag whilst we are at it :wack: :x:

Nice one.

well i thought he was ok, no matter whowas in charge, the outcome would have still been the same, at least he was up for a laugh and didnt mind been all over the papers when he made a decision and was slated for it, he did what he thought was right, not what would have made him look good with the press

i wouldn't mind him leaving if it weren't for the fact there's no one who's a better option to be honest. He was a moron yes but less of a moron than the rest lol

Lets hope its the Brown month or hopefully weeks.

Bring back Screaming Lord Such. God rest his sole.

As for the solution. Not sure there is one.

oh ffs, I dont mind people slating him for some of his policy decisions but get off the ****in war bandwagon, I served in the forces and am still freindly with both special forces and marines on the ground both in afganistan and iraq, yes we didnt do it for the right reason but it was still the right thing to do due to the country being run by a genocide fixated madman who killed whoever he wanted , if it was wrong to remove saddam then it was wrong to oppose hitler trying to wipe out the jews.

Yes be glad hes gone if you didnt like his policies but the war crap just dont stand up.

i do not think its the war that gets a lot of folk, just the way he seemed to refuse to listen to his public, he seemed not to care what his voters thought or accept their opinions IMHO.

IMHO, Tony did a great job of running the country. I do detest his 'I'll follow you' foreign policies, but the country has one of the strongest economies in the world. Labour brought it back from almost collapse, ie the unfortunate legacy that was ‘John Major’.

People are too quick to moan. You're never going to be able to please everyone, but on the whole, the has done well under the Blair administration and I truly believe that. The world and this country have gone through some big changes and tough times.

I am actually kinda sad he's leaving. Brown, as intelligent as he is, will just use this short term as leadership as a bit of a PR exercise. He wants to make a name for himself and thus far, worried he'll make some on existing home policies which might not do the country favours. We'll wait and find out.

In the current lineup, I'd not want to see any of the opposition taking over at the next elections. I think mild consideration should be made to Lib Dems. As much as they can't seem to pull through with a good campaign, they have interesting policies. I do not want to see conservative party back into power. I just don't believe that Cameron has what it takes to run the country successfully. he wants too much change too quickly, especially as far as the environment goes. Financially with some of his ideas, it could damage the UK economy.

PS...I just burn my feckin naan bread writing that!

lmfao    you should of just typed "i love blair" it would of been shorter, the bread would be edible, and you just might of found time for a cup of tetleys finest ;)

As far as my history goes we didn't fight against Hitler because he was try to wipe out the so called lesser classes. We went to war because he refused leave Poland.

If we used that as an excuse then we would be fighting wars in many coutries, Zimbabwe, Korea, China, Israel and probably America all of whom commit plenty of atrocities against humanity. I would add us into that list but it's hard to go to war against yourself.

Personnaly I think we should go down the American line of only 2 terms in office and that there should then be an election for the new leader. That way the country can decide who runs it. At the moment we have a person in charge who has been elected without opposition from anybody. How can that be a democracy?

The only god send is that it isn't Prescot in charge.

Im all for standing against all of the situations you say, i honestly cant think of any instances of genocide commited by the british or americans , but lets face it weve stood against one and the government gets slated for it , do you honestly think anyone wanting a career in government would have the balls to make that decision , to much crap from people worried about their sons and daughters .....reality check people , they signed up , they get the pay , they do the job , ( and dont tell me i dont know what I am talking about as I have served at the shitty end of the stick) if they didnt want to fire a gun they shouldnt of joined up.

How long can normal people stand around and claim that it is deplorable for these human indignities to be perpetrated and yet when people try to stop some of them these same people say that is deplorable , at some time in your life you have to realise that dictators really dont care what your placard says , thats why hes a dictator, in fact try preaching peacefully about human rights in dictaterships and see how long your life is.

Oh and its a democracy because there WILL be a election and you can get rid of him if you want.

lmfao    you should of just typed "i love blair" it would of been shorter, the bread would be edible, and you just might of found time for a cup of tetleys finest ;)

si reminds me off that queer off little britain licking the prime minister's asshole :D ;)

Please read your history  , Kenya (ethnic Kikuyu during the Mau Mau rebellion in the 50's), South Africa (we invented the concentration camp during the Boer war!!!!), Native American Indians (scalp bounties under Cornwallis), Ireland (Potato famine, genocide through inaction) to name but a few......

You don't end up ruling half the world by being nice!!!! We aren't the 'Saints' you seem to think we are, and don't forget, we didn't invade Iraq because Saddam was commiting Genocide, we invaded because Tony said that there was WMD that could be used within 40 minutes even though the UN weapons inspectors couldn't find them and lo and behold neither could we after we went to have a look for ourselves.

On top of this the ostensible reason this started was the war on terror, but lets ignore the bit where there was no proof that Iraq had any involvement in this either and by doing so we lost a huge amount of world support for something that may have made a difference :headvswal

So if your happy with risking our troops lives so Bush junior can finish what Bush senior failed to do, and destabilise an entire region, ignoring everything we learned when we tried this form of meddling in the 20's, and ignore the fact that when you get right down to it we caused all this with the original setting up of Iraq after finishing the Ottoman Empire in the 1st world war and the subsequent setting up of Israel and ignoring, and tacitly supporting, their years of attrocities against the Palestinians, then all power to you :nelson:

With ya on that. Though Blair was a good leader, and done a good job.

And I voted tory.

well I tell a lie, I thought they whre the same party and couldnt be assed to go vote for teh wet nosed twerps.

Maybe Brown will have some backbone, doubtfull I know, but we can but hope.

If he aint its gona be a short stay.

We also lead the world in abolishing slavery around the time we where kicking everyones ass.

If you go to places like malaya or borneo youl be amazed at teh way you get treated if your a brit. Maybe some of our grandads did a good job out there. I dont think the other side would say teh same thing.

Your right on one thing, well a few. But you dont become the greatest power teh world has ever seen by being nice. Plus this countries greatest asset is its citizens ability to kick ass.

Its greatest flaw is its citizens ability to want to appologise for things that happened before any of us where alive.
